L-curve bend solid shelf magic:
Xform3 acrylic floating shelf is made out of 1/4" thick cast acrylic. Our L-bend technology enables to strain harden solid piece of acrylic and achieve high tensile strength right at the shelf storage area! (see Young's modulus)
Shelves are very strong and can not be accidentally broken/fractured not even by overloading!

Shelf will eventually begin to lean down as more and more weight is added. Shelf will not break and will spring back into position as weight is reduced.
Installation:
You'll need 5/16″ Hex Head socket bit to drive #12 Hex Head TEK Self Drilling Screws that we supply.
All Xform3 shelves are designed and manufactured in Canada. Cast acrylic used to make any Xform3 shelves is procured only from reputable Canada and USA suppliers.

I ordered a 12' corner shelf, rounded. Since the piece design affixes to 1 side only, the shelf was not ridged enough to hold a decor plate without sagging on the unattached side. Used a painted piece of wood as a support to take care of the sag. The item was well-packed for shipping.
